Lothar was born and raised in China, where he showed exceptional talent for drawing and painting from a very young age. He drew inspiration from Renaissance and later Impressionism art movements. After completing his formal education in art in both China and the UK, Lothar embarked on a journey to explore different mediums and styles, practicing with pen and ink and oil paints. His artistic journey led him to travel extensively to different continents, seeking inspiration from various cultures and landscapes in numerous countries.

Throughout his career, Lothar has participated in many exhibitions and art shows, showcasing his unique style and perspective. His work has been recognized and appreciated by art collectors and critics alike. His paintings often capture the essence of nature and the beauty of the world around us, portraying emotions and memories through vivid colors and intricate styles.

Through his art, he aims to evoke a sense of wonder and connection with the natural world, encouraging viewers to appreciate the beauty and diversity of our planet.​Today, Lothar continues to create stunning works of art and works as a senior visual art lecturer at Breda University in the Netherlands, inspiring his students to pursue their dreams and passions.
